Hi, I'm new to the forum. I bought a lightly used 2004 VFR800. I'm not new to viffers, I had a 1991 VFR750 for 10 years. I moved on to other bikes but I missed the VFR's. I picked a bad spring to buy a bike, I hope the weather improves so I can ride!

Welcome, nice to see another Illinois VFR. Looks like we will remain wet and cold for a while longer! I think my area is sending some extra water your way!

Thanks! I think that you're right, my cousin who lives in Schaumburg sent pictures of flooding in the area. Most of that will end up in the Illinois river which is one mile from my house. I hope it stays dry for a few days to let everyone recover.

Thanks for the welcome. I refer to Illinois as Hellinois due to our fine politicians and high property taxes. I have added some photos but I haven't figured out how to get them linked to my posts yet.

I think it is shameful the way we think of our fine elected officials. We treat them all with mistrust. They are poor innocent misunderstood people. Had they been hugged by their fathers when they were younger, we would not be in this mess. We should all greet our highly paid and poorly treated officials and show them out love.
