I have had the white wheels before and i know they are impossible to keep clean. I have the stock black now and while they are much easier than white they still show dirt real easy. Mine will go from a shiny black to a matte black in about 100 miles. Especially the rear. I have thought something like the 08 wheels would need the least amount of cleaning?

I like the Stain black look.

But light colored wheel really bring a whole new look to a bike.

Chrome has a bad habit of peeling after time and I would suggest against it. Polish and clear coated, painted or powder coat is the way to go. I painted my rear gold to see if I liked it the had both powder coated.
