This past weekend I bought a 2000 VFR800 fitted with aftermarket ECU. The guy couldn't really get it going.

The stock crank pickup trigger wheel wasn't right for the job so they made up a new trigger wheel (36-1) BUT they made it themselves by hand!!!

I want to have one laser cut for the obvious accuracy it would provide....

However I need info on a stock trigger wheel:

    1. What is the diameter (tip to tip) of a stock trigger wheel?
    2. Where is the crank key slot in relation to TDC?

Close-up pics of a trigger wheel would also be appreciated.

In the end I can share the results with all of you guys.

Thanks for the offer dude...much appreciated.

Guess what? Yesterday afternoon I actually managed to find one at a local second hand bike spares shop...where I actually doubted I would find it...and at a price I was willing to pay.

Dude! I take that as a huge insult!!!

Not just personally but as a South African!

I have bought plenty of stuff from guys on Ebay from both the U.S. and the U.K. without NO problems! Why else would I have a reputation score of 187 for the few things I've bought.

Biggest reason why I stopped buying on Ebay especially from the U.S. is the shipping costs as it is usually much more expensive than from the U.K.

Come and visit South Africa...you will sing a totally different tune...you will want to come back again and again

I am not sure how insulted you you should be by a guy having sex with a metal dinosaur.
