'00 is back in the fleet (just FYI I'm wildwhl - can't get login to work). Will post progress of preseason refresh soon...hopefully under my usual weblife login eventually.

Meanwhile...here's the progress rework on my Hawk...

Rode the vfr long way home tonight. What a great bike. Have pads, fluids, and PR3's ready to go on. Probably do valves and throw some heated grips on. I think I'll leave the bike mostly stock. At least that's what I'm gonna tell myself.

Hey WW - where did you pick up the new 00? I'm searching for one myself as of last week - joined both VFR forums.

I was put in charge of selling a few bikes (still have the ST4S to move) after a friend of mine passed away. His wife just doesn't want to deal with it.

Given this one has been lowered about 1" it is just too perfect for me...and I made the mistake of tuning it/test riding it. Had to have it. Got it for a song.

    It was meant to be.

Will you help me keep an eye out for a clean 5th gen in your area if possible? I would be interested in yours if you ever decide to sell as well.

Managed some viffer time today (actually, rode the 919, the CH150, CB250F Hornet and the Viffer home at end of day).

That 5th gen is a G'damn great efn bike...I just adore her.

OK - so she got a bath. And new grips. Lubed chain. Went to replace brake pads only to realize that all pads are like new EBC's. Started to flush brake/clutch and then realized that Fred had done that, too. Man, this was a steal on this one...tomorrow we have a ride planned. Should be about 250 miles of twisty fun...poor 919 starting to feel neglected.
