    Hey Scuba

Yep, the cowl was in that box. Wanted to make sure the cowl survived the trip without any incident. Though the box was 21" square and 13" high the cowl required a box at least 18.5"(L) x 14" (W) x 9" (H) and that was just to fit the part. You should have seen the box I got when I ordered a new front fender for my buddies 94 VFR from Honda a number of years back. I'm sure you could have packed an engine in the thing. LOL Hard to believe the box was that big and the box including the cowl weighed in at an enormous 2.55 kg (5.7 lbs) and most of that was the paper my daughter shredded to pack the box with. When I asked her what we should use to pack the cowl with to protect it she said that it needed to be wrapped in plastic so that it would not get scratched by the paper (Glad kitchen catcher bag to the rescue) and then she said we could use the guinea pig stuffing (we have two guinea pigs and that is what we use to stuff their litter boxes with) since we had to shred some paper anyhow. Viola,...........safe, light, and more environmentally friendly than foam packing peanuts (not to mention free).

PS VFRMAN44 - sorry bout the mess, but glad to see it turned out well, and the color in the pictures looks closer than I would have thought.

    Chantal says Thank You

    Hey guys

Chantal wanted to send you a note on the forum to say thank you for the doll you sent her. She has not put the doll down since it arrived this afternoon. She wrote you a note, all by herself, and I only told her how to spell some of the words.

Thanks very much for the gift and I'm sure Chantal will treasure it always.
