Honda Survey in the Mail? Open it!

I amost threw it away. Instead I opened it up and a $1 bill floated out.

Sure, it is only a buck. But I would have hated to have tossed ol' George Washington away.

And yes. I took the survey.

I got the same thing in the mail on Saturday. There was a crispy new $1 bill in there. I recently bought a new 2012 CRF250R, so that's why they sent me the survey.

 

I'm not holding my breath on this one.

 

I got that mail for my Acura few months ago.

Years ago I used to throw that stuff out, but when you are buying all your car cleaning stuff, and odds and ends there, it really adds up in short time.

 

I used to work at the gas bar many moons ago. We weren't supposed to keep the ones that people didn't want but we all seemed to have a stack worth a couple of hundred.
I have a ziplock bag in the kitchen that's probably an inch thick now, maybe $25-30 worth that my 8 year old daughter has her eye on. I think it might be a surprise gift when she does something extra special good someday.

 

Oh Boy,a whole dollar ! I wonder if I can use it to fix the hole in my bank account caused by those wonderful R/R failures? I figure for what those cost me I'd have to take about 1500 of those fucking surveys.

 

Just curious, what is a gas bar? Just like a gas station? Sorry if it is a dumb questions.

 

Pretty much. Back in the day a gas station also had a service bay or two for minor repairs. The neighbourhood mechanic knew all his customers by name and knew what the mileage was when he last changed the oil. Then businesses that sold gas and oil only, and you pumped your own, popped up and we called them gas bars. Anyways, that is what my grandpa told me cause of course, I am far to young for that. The appearance of these gas bars lead to the demise of many careers in the Petroleum Transfer Engineer filed. Mine included.

 

There was a dude named Gaspar in my hood. He was French. Ate all kinds of wierd shit like frogs and snails. How this relates to Honda surveys is not obvious but it does.

 

The money is not from Honda it is from Obama. He is going to save us all.

Does this mean if I had voted for Newt Romney it would have been a fiver? Did Randy get a loonie in the mail? If Honda had been really smart they probably could have got a deal on those Susan B. Anthony dollar coins that kind of flopped..
