So, I have a '10 VFR1200 which I've had the Z-bomb on since I bought the thing. I really love what that did for me. I recently got a 2 brothers exhaust and a K&N filter which feels to have added some mid range torque. Last week I installed the Power Commander V and have had nothing but problems since.

Sparing you my long horrible history w this combo, has anyone else had this issue? I have everything correctly installed but am getting engine error 24 sometimes.

    Heeelp!

Hi, error 24 is O2 2/3 sensor code. I know with mine one of the plugs was wired incorrectly, this was a long time ago, I thought they would have fixed it buy now though. I have just taken the Z-bomb off mine and fitted the PCV ignition module. Apart from the #24 DCT, what other problems are you having?

Well aside from it being a pain in the arse to get to those O2 eliminators, and the install instructions being written by a colorblind, (which may or may not be considered real problems) I've not noticed any gain. Its the weirdest thing. I had just installed the K&N and the 2bros which made a noticeable difference, but once I got the PCV wired up right, I couldn't tell a difference. Maybe I got a bunk one? The bike still runs and the PCV shows throttle position on the software, and I have the 2bros map in... Maybe it makes a difference I'm too novice to notice? I'm hearing from some others too, thats its the O2 eliminators so I'll call and ask for some correct ones... But I'm REALLY NOT looking forward to having to put them in. They really beed to have a footnote on the VFR12 page on their website AT LEAST!!!

Couldn't agree more about the pain in arse bit, I've got smallish hands and am used to getting into tight places around engines etc. but they suck big time. To get the most out of your PCV, consider blanking/removing the pair valves the PAIR valves, plus you won't get the best out of it till it's dynoe'd due to the TBW. I also have the Autotune module, QS and the EGCA eliminator from the guys at CB1000rr.net. I have a Werkes pipe (changed from 2 Bro's) and the K&N. The ignition module is by far the best I've noticed in rideability. Whatever you do, don't try and change THROTTLE POSITION without a dyno.

    Cheers Rusty

Are you sure you have the correct map running on the PCV? If you've loaded a "zero map", you won't see any difference.

Hahah no its the 2Bros map, I installed it twice! Once even on the phone w support. After riding last night I actually did notice less jerkiness at normal human speeds and a lil more acceleration. I just had the idea that it would be like adding a turbo. Which its... Not. But still helpful none the less!

Also I called about the optimizers and the guy was resistant to accepting fault. I was eventually able to squeeze a diagram out of him. He was nice enough to suggest I use a pick and tweezers to correct the resistor bridges. :(
