VF500F tires available in stock sizes?

I never ran the proper sized tires back in the day with my old 500. I'd like to run stock with this one. But these are the only ones I've found:

    Pirelli Sport Demons
    Bridgestone BT45
    Metzler Lasertec
    Duro HF918
    IRC RS-310 (added 22JAN13)

I have read up on the Duros, and they seem to be OK tires. I was wondering if anyone has found them to be stickier than the Pirellis? From what have read the Pirellis aren't really any better than the BT45s. But I think the look a little cooler.

Am I missing any? Opinions on tires? Thanks.

I have a pair of Duro HF918s on my 500, work just fine for me, wet or dry, but I'm not an overly aggressive rider. Never had the BT45s or Pirellis, so I can't weigh in on those.

I've got Sport Demons on my 1000R. I like them, and I like the tread pattern. Not the stickiest, but they feel real good and didn't introduce any quirks. If you're riding in the rain, I think the BT45s are a really good choice. The Lasertec is probably a great rain tire as well, but I haven't tried them since they were the ME33 Laser, so I don't know what the compound is like, but it is probably the same as the Demon compound. Had a friend who raced a VTR250 with the BT45's... no grip issues what so-ever.

EDIT: Sorry... doubling up on info I already gave you in another thread. Should have looked, but this might be good info for others.

Avon Roadriders. I have them on the wife's EX500 and I really like them. They are bias ply tires. We aren't tracking the bike, but I would feel comfortable going to the track on those tires.

Avon Roadriders do not come in stock sizes for the 500 Interceptor.

There is a rear, but the closest they have for the front is a 110/90-16

I should have looked before I posted.

Since my last posting in a tire thread I have ridden the Avons in the cold and they SUCK!!! They are also a few years old so this may play in to it a bit. All this non withstanding because they don't come in the sizes you want. Of your choices I would jump on a set of the Sport Deamons as I have run them in everything (yep, light snow too) and they were fantastic.

Dunlops and Bridgestones are the only two kinds I ever considered. I heard Avons are ok but I have no experience with them. None of my VF's have stock wheels anymore so it's kind of a moot point around my shop!

From what I've been hearing you're really might want to think about adding Pirelli to that list.

I had the Pirelli Sport Demons on my old VF500 (and they're still on there with the new owner) and they worked good. I did hear that they do get slick if pushed hard on the track.

I had the Avons on my 1986 VFR750 and they were good too.
