OY. I need to raise my 6th gen back to stock height, but I bought it lowered. pretty sure it's got a bracket kit on the rear swingarm.... any ideas? am I gonna need to lift it?

the triangles look stock (ish?) maybe they're turned for the 3/8's? but the frontend is slammed, in addition to risers/spacers. I'll have pics shortly of what I'm discussing.

I'll appreciate all info/input. I mean all. even if you tell me it ain't broke don't fix it.

It's just the other day two up, lets say... I wasn't riding very gently. I scraped the header in a hard right hander. ....I call that unacceptable. no peg contact, no warning. so.... Ideas. I want em. I need em.

    There you are...
According to the 2002+ Honda Service manual, the fork height should be at 41mm from the top of the triple clamp to the top of the fork tube.

As far as the rear, the markings on the rear shock "triangles" should be at the top and with a marking indicating the where the front should be. (At least according to the shop manual)

Of course there maybe other information out there pertinent to your exact model so it may not look 100% like the photo. If the triangles are oriented as the should be, it is also possible the PO changed out the shock, but that is probably less likely to be the case.

    Cheers!

Check the dog bone to see if they are longer than stock
Also check to see if the side stand have been cut short.
To raise back to original you must get the original dog bone and the side stand and raise the front fork as well.

Sorry, I had already posted the route before I saw this. It'll be fun regardless.

Okay. the side stand I believe -is- stock. it doesn't sit at the same angle every bike does. it's more upright. yet another reason I want rid of the lowering. its windy out here in texas some days.

super duper promise, pics today. meanwhile, here's a shot of my bike on the 3 twisted sisters!

I don't see any freaky sisters in that pic anywhere! I like how the brackets and exhaust are all blacked out, very nice.

Looks liek the center stand has been removed too. Probably because it was grinding in every corner.

yeah... another accessory I sorely miss.

my center stand I put on my GSX650F was a life saver more than 10x.

I hope ebay has a decent stock of them.... I want mine BACK. another neat fact on mine , It's Non ABS. heh.

Let me know if you can't find one as I have the one off my 2007 that I can't use with the 5th gen exhaust installed. I'm not sure what they are worth or if they come up on e-bay often or not.
