Was wondering if anyone has had any experience with this tire. Seeing that I just replaced my rear with one ( hard center, medium sides ) and got a great deal. Just put it on today but didn't get a chance to ride yet. Thanks

If your after sport Touring tires then they are great, brilliant in wet and cold conditions, high mileage, comfortable and stable.

They're good if not pushed too hard for too long but if you are after Sport tires then I found them slow to turn in making them hard work through long distance eg 30+ miles of continual tight 10 to 25 mph posted twisties that I love most when with my R1GixerBlade riding mates.

One of the things I disliked most about them when riding fast through the long twisties is due to their flat centre profile with steep sides is they have an imprecise teetering then falling point rather than a quick smoothlinear tipping point that I prefer from my tires when flip flopping from corner to corner.

I didn't find them any better that the PR2's. I have run two sets of PR2's, then tried the 3's and have since gone back to the 2's cause they were a bit cheaper. There are some who ride in more adverse weather than I used to but not many. I just didn't see the increase in performance of the 3's in wet or cold weather they say there is. Sorry to rain on anyone's parade. Having said that, the 3's were a good tire. Just not better than the 2's.

Thanks for the input guys. Now that I will have time to ride I will go up to the crest this week and give an update compaired to my old 2's .only paid 135 so Asking for more of a milage tire then canyon carving is what I'm after...hopefully it will give me both. on all my bikes I ran nothing except metzlers so this is new territory for me

At the risk of arguing with Randy, I have found the PR3 to have MUCH better wear characteristics than the PR2s that I had before. I am buying new PR3s.
