Looking to ride with some new friends. Ventura county? LA county?

Hey guys! Trying to get a ride going to some local bike spots in the area. I'm located in Simi Valley. Ventura County. Just wanna ride with some local guys. Getting rides organized in So. Cal seems to be harder than one might think. Best bet it to just create a ride plan and set a time and date and then invite riders to join in. Although I am a bit further south of Ventura County, I'm in Anaheim, I do often go to Malibu to ride the roads up there, which are close to you. Personally Saturday's are the best day for my availability and Sunday's a close second, but only if the ride starts early. However, this time of year is a little difficult as my work load increases and scheduling time for rides becomes harder due to family holiday obligations. I am not available this weekend but maybe the weekend before Christmas or the weekend before New Years.

Thanks for the advise and I will take your advise. Lets do a ride on the the 22nd at 8am and ill give you the meet up location and for the ride we will ride through mulhuland RD all the way down to the PCH and then hit Neptunes Net. I'll give you the drive map after I get off work. Thanks again.

 

Sounds feasible right now. I should be flying back from a project I have up North that Friday, if all goes well I should be back home and able to go on Saturday.

You guys are lucky. I'm thinking about going for a quick ride when I get home tonight because even though its below freezing at least there is no snow and the roads are dry!

Roy, looking at one of the weather forecast it looked like it was going to be partly cloudy on Saturday/Sunday and raining on Monday. Would you be in if the rain doesn't show up on Saturday?

Cant ride till after the first unless its to work. have to work at Universal Studios drivin the tour trams for grinchmas so if we see or live past friday I will be free to ride anytime...even during the week

 

Roy- No I have a 95 750 all red. I'll be setting up another ride in a month or so. We'll go riding.

OOTVS- sounds fine I can meet you at valley circle and the 101. There's a shopping center right there. We can meet at the McDonalds right there.

Well another ride in the log book. Not too many riders out there braving the "brisk" temps, low-mid 30's this morning, warmed up to upper 50's and low 60's but otherwise a great day for riding! Thanks VFRMAN for setting this up and see you on the next one.

It looks like all 4 of the standard definition videos came out, only the first two of the Hi-Def got recorded, ran out of battery time! I'll see if I can post the raw footage of at the least the SD vids from your camera first, although I might have to edit them down, the last time I tried posting such a large file, YouTube wouldn't allow it, said video/file was too long/large. I forget the exact message.
