BB I would love to "reply with quote", but......read most of it some of the time and read some of it most of the time.

To helmet or not to helmet.....is that a question?????

I don't particularly like to, but sometimes a little slip puts you past the taint.

It should be mandatory. The rest of us bear some of the cost of others not wearing a helmet and getting into accidents. Also, I do happen to believe that every human life is invaluable and I frankly don't want anyone to die.

This is very true here in Oz with our health system, and more specifically in Victoria with our Transport Accident Commission (TAC) and the levies they impose on vehicle registrations... TAC underwrite their own vehicular accident insurance, paid for in large part by vehicle registrations, they cover medical costs, loss of earnings etc as a result of vehicular accidents... The more their financial burden, the more levy is applied to the end user... So ultimately, the more riders that go down without ATGATT, the more it hurts my hip pocket - to my way of thinking, that is a VERY direct impact on me and the sooner they mandate ATGATT the better...!!!

Do I wear one always? Yep.. Have I gone down wearing a helmet and it saved my ass from drooling it my Jo-jo's? Yep.

Lots of quotes there to be sure but it sure indicates that Ronald Regan did not make them up and we know GWB couldn't.

I thank the Lord that I do not live in such a heathen country as OZ where government regulations affect every second of everyone's life and thankee Jesus for America and the freedom to wear flipflops from the dollar store at all times.
