"Bad" Bill Clinton who,as I hear, can whup the NY Times crossword in about 20 minutes might define it thusly:

The third person singular of the substantive verb be, in the indicative mood, present tense. This would be limited to the English infinitve "to be" all sogrts variations in the other Romance languages like Spanish where we find two forms of the infinitive to be.

Not being either as slick or as smart collectively as BC, I kinda like the Walt Kelly version " We have met the enemy and he is us." Or, the dude who said, "What this country needs is a good nickel cigar." I can't recall who actually said that but I doubt he was a metalurgist.

FYI I recently bought a 2006 CRF450X for $2700, that was was written on the bill of sale and the title transfer document. I registered the machine in CA for $58 and wasn't required to pay any sales tax whatsoever, even though I was fully prepared to do so.

No wonder California is broke. Were you fondling the clerk with such intensity she broke out into an orgasmic shivering frenzie.

I didn't read this whole thread when it turned political. What's the sales tax in FL - 6%? Big deal. On $2500, its a one time charge of $150.

    Taxes are what they are.
