:frown: I'm trying to remove the rear wheel from my 99 VFR800 and am having trouble getting the staintune exhaust can off so I can remove the wheel. I removed the bolts and bracket but the pipes seem to be stuck together... any suggestions to help free it up ???

Can you just till the wheel to slide it out?

I have an aftermarket Delkic slip on that mounts in the stock location and if I pivot the rear edge of the wheel around the back of the swingarm, I can get it off without having to remove the exhaust. Just be careful not to scratch the inside of the wheel on the swingarm. I usually drape a rag over the back edge of the swingarm as a precaution.

Maybe the black one second from left?

seriously - some wiggle and twist should free it up. There should be a fiber seal between the two pipes.

LOL, +1 for the "second from the left" helper :)

Give er a squirt of WD40 and perhaps a little heat to get things moving and then smack it as described above.
