    Hello,
I recently replaced my 87 vfr turn sinal lights from stock to a newer style light, however there is only a power wire and a signal or ground wire on the new lights and the original stock lights have three wires. any tips on what I might be able to do? is there a splitter wire I can get? or do I have to get a differant style turn signal with all three connections like the original turn signal light. I appreciate any feedback. Thanks.

This is for the fronts, right? The 3rd wire is for the running light filament in the stock bulbs.

Too cheap to replace the stock siggies, i just shortened the stalks. For safety reasons, not a good idea to delete the running lights IMO.

You'll never find better quality afternarket indicators than the OEM Stanley.

    replacing stock turn signals

Yes, this would be for the fronts only that have three wires, the rear turn signals have two.

Just order ther shortest stalks available, those for a VF500 rear, i think, but there is a possible f/r mixup in those part #s.

Dennis Kirk, Service Honda, your local dealer, whatever. That's the easiest way.

Honda had illuminated running lights up front. It was a feature and not a requirement for the US market. My 1999 Suzuki does not have running lights up front.
