Is it just me or is the fuel cut off for the gen 4 VFR in the stupidest spot imaginable. i mean on the Gen 1&2 it was right on the side of the tank (good) on the Gen 3 you pull off the seat and it was right there (OK), but on the Gen 4 you can't reach it without pulling the seat AND the bodywork. Even THEN you can only see it but can't reach it and have to use a phillips screwdriver to turn it off (Horrible!!). Is it just me or does anyone else wonder what the heck they were thinking???

    Grrrrr!!!!!

    It's just you!

2:nd gen is a sweet ride.

3:rd gen has the best carburetors.

4:th carbs are easiest to clean (only 3 bowl screws).

i hate that fuel valve too...

be glad you have one at all. No valve at all on gen 5 and no removing the tank without taking a fuel bath.

Same thing on the 6th gen. Tink. That's why I installed a quick disconnect dry-break in my return fuel line. Makes removing the fuel tank a piece of cake.
