Here is a link for a free downloadable .pdf file of the '02 (good for '02-09) VFR 800A Interceptor. It is a large file...209.68mb. And with high speed internet service, can be down loaded to your computer (it still takes several minutes). But once you have it, you can either have the whole 639 pages printed, or you can print sections as you need them. For instance, say you want to change the oil. Print sections 2 (body panel removal) and 3 (maintenance) pages 14 through 16 and put in a notebook. Eventually, you may have the whole thing printed as needed.

This is the same service manual the dealer or a motorcycle mechanic uses.

Good luck. Let me know how it works for you.

You're more than welcome. I have found Factory Service Manuals online in .pdf form for all my vehicles and family member's vehicles. Toyota 4Runner, Chevy Suburban, Chevy Silverado, VW Jetta, Mercedes C280, Honda XR600, etc.

No, didn't go anywhere...on a VFR anyway. My son crashed it, I fixed it, but it wasn't the same to me after that. So I gave it to him. Since I'm not a VFR owner anymore, and don't know if I'll get another one, I'm not really connected this community anymore. Maybe there's a "Former VFR Owners World". I bought an XR600 that I'm converting to a SuperMoto. But plans are to purchase something for the long haul...haven't decided yet, but probably an open class adventure tourer. Any suggestions? I want to ride to Alaska!

A Boeing 737 makes a great ride to Alaska. My understanding is that the Alaska highway still has fair expances of gravel road. I am also told that that drive is supposed to be one of the most scenic drives in North AMerica if you like wilderness. I would like to do that sometime myself. Maybe next year in the 5th wheel seeing as I am retired again.

It's 200MB, not very email friendly. I found it after a bit of digging last I was looking... Just be careful around all those "Free PDF" websites

We should really try to fix those links or delete them if they are not working. Then again, I might vet deleted because I'm not working. I do yard work so maybe just a partial deletion. Starting at my belly.

Canadians taking jobs away from us Mexicans. What has this world come down to?
I agree, I've come across some links that don't work anymore. I just don't have the power and/or authority to do it myself.
