wow is all i can say. just sold my black gen 6 with 13k miles and got the gen 7.
$10,000 . dct, helibars, two bros exhaust, oem windshield addition, built in k40 laser/radar, custom painted black, hid headlights, powered tank bag, gps mount, oem hard bags, broken in by 50 y/o honda engineer.
6k miles. i felt this was a fair deal.
my main complaints of the 800 were, under powered and sort of fat between my legs, exhaust note wasnt the best with stock cans.
the 1200 is sooooo much more powerful, the dct shifts instantly. sometimes too instantly, when i would get on the 800, the split second it took to clutch , shift and let out the clutch, was enough to stop the power and regain traction, but the dct - is so instant and since there is no clutch lever, when i nail it- from 1st to second to third, the bike will shift and i will get rear wheel scratch and got squirelly, sort of scary the first few times. my zx10r has the same brutal exceleration, but without the back end sliding.
the vfr has a great exhaust note, easy and comfy to ride, fast as heck, and everyone who has seen it in person comments on how futuristic and handsome the bike is. thank goodness , i didnt buy the k1300s. if anyone wants to see hoe the vfr looks in black, email me and ill email you a pic. im very bad at posting pics. alikitchell@hotmail.com

    Congrats on the new ride!

Nice to hear some positive comments on the bike. I would love to throw a leg over one someday and see whats what but that isn't too likely seeing as most dealers don't allow test rides anymore. Need to catch the Honda ride program next time it passes through I guess. But what am I saying, this is way over my budget and always will be.

If you want to send me some pics, I can post them up for you. bradtaylors@hotmail.com or brad.taylor@tc.gc.ca

Nice. I like it in black. Looks like a less ostentatious BMW without a stupid wheelbase the size of a Manhattan avenue block like the K1200s.

Glad you like your ride, sounds like a good 'un.

you're kidding, right? you're talkin to a guy who just learned to program the time into the microwave! another forum member had to help me post pics.

if you type this -"Honda VFR1200F with Two Brothers Racing Exhaust"

into youtube- it has a video of the same exhaust on the dyno.

Another observation- seat is hard and uncomfortable after 30 mins. and my other bike is a zx-10r!

they are custom painted black to match bike, i like the oem bags bc they have a metal heat shield in the bottom for protection, are the slickest engineered- handles , locks and require no extra ugly framing to mount. id sell them, but have no clue as to what a fair price might be.
