I'm looking for an original plastic seat cowl for my 93. Probably will be tough to find but wanted to put the word out. any year 90-93 would work. also would love to find a slip on or full exhaust as well. if anyone knows of any I'd be interested. thanks, mbsawyer1@yahoo.com

OEM plastic is gonna be obtainable thru the dealer, some of it is discontinued depending on model year, and will be expensive. You can try bikebandit.com adn might get a little lower price than the dealer. A slip on for a 94 - 97 will work. The only catch is you have to have a mid-pipe made as the connector at the header is different on 90 - 93 models than on 94 - 97. The D&D on mine is ofr a 94 - 97 and I have a muffler shop make the mid pipe.

NM whatt I said about the plastic. I apparently cant read tonight. The seat cowl for a 90-93 is no longer available. However, if you go to ebay and search for seller vfrchuck, he can make you one. I have one from him and it is very good quality. You will have to paint it, but thats a small thing. I got mine for $60 plus shipping.

so...... finding one that isnt oem means that it is going to be made of fiberglass? how does it compare to plastic as far as durability.

The ones the vfr chuck makes are thicker and sturdier then the ones that were offered by Honda. I take mine on and off depending on my mood and it has held up well.

18 December 2006, and 17 march 2007...it takes about a month to receive them, as he has to fabricate them first, then deliver, but well worth waiting for...

I bought mine sometime last summer. It took 2 or three weeks to get it. I am happy with the quality of it and you really can't beat the price, IMO.

good stuff huh? by the way do you know of anyone who has does business with Thurn Motorsport in Germany? They have a single seat tailsection for 90 - 93 viffers giving them an RC30 look...was wondering about quality, and mounting ease (or difficulty)...
