You can purchase it through any dealer or direct through us. The Z-AFm plugs into all of our fuel control units

Based on my reading, the graphs on your attachment show the AF ratio leaning out with the Z-Fi. I thought the issues on my VFR were related to it already running too lean. Am I missing something?

I have been disappointed in the lack of a response. They posted this a month ago and have not been back to answer questions.

The top HP is shown as 88.7 which is less than the magazines and everything else I have seen show it as-

The A/F ratio looks leaner than stock to me-

Agree with you 88 HP can't be right .... that is a decrease in HP

I emailed them and got this response.

The HP is SAE. A lot of dynamometers read ‘Dynojet numbers’ which are inflated because of calculations they add in at the end of the process. Non-Dynojet dynamometers read SAE, which appear lower, but many machines will often have an option to inflate the numbers to the DJ ones so they don’t look low in comparison. We, of course, do not subscribe to that. These runs were done on our Superflow dyno; nowadays we do everything on the new Bazzaz Principia dynamometer! –had to get that in there.

The 13.0 target AFR ratio was found to give the best performance. The AFR graph represents ratio at full throttle. However, there is fuel added in certain ranges in the lower throttle positions to get to that AFR. You can view this map in its entirety by downloading the Bazzaz software and map (free) from our website and working in the offline mode.

I hope this answers your questions. Let me know if you have any others. Thanks!

    UPDATE

I guess I won't be getting one after all:

"Recently you placed an order with Bazzaz through our website. Unfortunately we cannot ship product into your area. Our importer in the region, Gas Imports, handles all Bazzaz product for the area.

The good news is that most of your local dealers have the ability to order through our importer. I have also forwarded your request to Gas Imports and asked them to contact you for assistance.

Apologies for the inconvenience and be assured that your credit card has not been charged.

    Thanks for choosing our product"

Now, my two questions for Bazzaz would be 1) If you won't ship to Australia, why the fuck does your website allow shipping to Australia as an option? and 2) Why the hell would I buy anything from a dealer, who had to buy it from a middleman, who had to buy it from you, so that the price I paid was so vastly inflated that I would end up paying literally double what an American customer would pay for it?!

Bazzaz has obviously gone the lazy route and decided to use ancient methods of selling, despite the fact that the modern world of online commerce is rapidly diminishing that sort of business model. - No wonder Bazzaz is a name that almost no-one has heard of!

you obviously don't understand the concept of exclusive sales and marketing agreements. I have a question for you: Why would you buy something from the U.S. and pay to ship it when you can buy it at home?

They must think this place is loaded with a bunch of 8 year old girls, based on that and the other guy whining about no response to his question when the guy left his name and phone number in his sig and he could have just called him, I could understand it if they felt that way.

You are a moron. - I have made it quite clear that I not only understand but disagree with the concept of exclusive distributorships.

"Why would I order something from the US when I could order it here?" - That tells me that you don't understand the parasitic nature of middleman importers.
By the time an importer has added their markup and then the dealer has added their own markup, the product can nearly double in price. Does that answer your incredibly ignorant question?
Before international online sales took off, a Yoshimura exhaust cost between $1500 and $2000 in this country, when the same thing was selling for $600 in the US.
Now take your head out of your ass and don't display your stupidity for the whole site to see.

    Further update:

I got my local dealer to ask Gas Imports for a price on the Z-FI. Well, it turns out that the price isn't laughably high but 1) Gas Imports don't carry them in stock, and 2) they are "really busy" and even if I ordered one today, I wouldn't get it until after the New Year! - We are talking about a tiny gizmo that could be posted from the US and get here in about a week!

So, Gas Imports can kiss my ass. I will get an American friend to buy one for me, then post it to Australia.

FFS, no wonder no-one here has ever heard of Bazzaz.

    Another update:

The Sales & Marketing Manager for Bazzaz USA, Dante DelGrosso, has contacted me and made the offer to personally bring a Z-Fi to Australia with him when he comes here next week!
He said a few things in his message and it seems that he really is interested in giving good service and support to customers/potential customers.

As it happens, I've already arranged for a Z-Fi to be posted from the US but I am certainly mightily impressed by his offer!

Hey quick question. Why are you going with the bazzaz instead of say power commander anyways? Not that its a big deal, just curious.
