New member from Kansas!

New member logging in from South East Kansas! I am looking at picking up a cherry 2006, found your forums, and here I am. I currently own a 2007 Honda VTX 1300c. I have owned a 1993 VFR750 and a 1998 Honda Superhawk. Got rid of the 1993 after buying my VTX. Bought the Superhawk and sold under the careful guidance of my wife... Love my VTX but want another sportbike, found an absolute cherry 06 last night on line in pearl white, plan to look at it next weekend!

I used to live in North Central Kansas. The land of straight dirt roads.

There are some curves in Kansas. May you find them deserted and free of gravel.

I spent a few years in Wichita where all the bikes are either custom choppers or nitrous burning drag strip wannabees with extended swing arms and hoties on the pillion. Oh yes, and no corners except the on ramps to the interstate.

 

Thanks for the welcomes. Actually, my name doesn't come from that comic strip, but I used to enjoy it all the same. And yes the area is still full of all that nonsense. I live in Chanute and it's either Harley, Gixxer's or death. I catch a lot of flak for owning my VTX but I won't trade it in for anything. Going to be the same with VFR. Really hoping to look at it this weekend if I can swing it.

 

Hwy 4 is a good ride from Topeka to Salina.

I'm only kidding. I bought an 06 mint black VFR a couple of months ago, you're going to love it.
