I had the tail bag on my last bike so had to get one for the new toy. 30$ craigslist.
I use my bike to commute 30 miles to work and needed more room for stuff and the tank bag is big but you dont notice it going down the road and is comfy when you duck behind the screen.

I'm looking for a tank bag now. Loved it on my Blackbird.

Looks like you and I have the same bike. 2004 in Asphalt. You have aftermarket exhaust and you've removed the rear fender. Looks good. I'm going to remove my fender after I reach Belgium.

I notice your passenger pegs match the bike. Mine are aluminum and still colored that way. Did you do something to make them match? I like that look better.

I could not take the look of them silver with all that black. The metal had some pitting on them so figured could not hurt them and used a rattle can Rustoleum multi material paint on them and did both bags turned out real nice. I also used the matt clear to cover it.

It's going on my list of things to do to the bike when I get it back. Only problem is that once I do that, my eye starts wandering to those other silver components...especially the frame...

Looks great LimeTime, I just ordered a Cortech soft tail bag, waiting for it now. Looks like you have heli-bars? Yes/No, ya like em?

I have had 2 six gen and both had heli's. Both already on when I bought them. I do like that it allows me to change position for wrist and back on long rides and after tough days at work.
    No complaints about them.

I much prefer the look of those pegs. Easy little project that much improves the look.

Well here is a product update.
I have used both bags for a few weeks and love the room they give you and the tank bag is real nice for room and we had a few nasty storms one night and rode the tank to keep her pointed in the right direction and was very comfy.
Oh and she looks good also.
