Here's a Memorex am/fm radio with push button presets and push button volume control with headphones. I currently have it clipped on the key ring, seems to work great in this location, easily accessible and can change stations with gloves on. May use a velcro strap to mount it on the tree, time will tell, so far it's stable at 80mph. Try to link a pic.

    How's the volume?

I was going to use my Iphone, but earbuds kept pulling out with the helmet, and headphones were barely audible at full volume.

I used my iphone for a couple years, then my droid after I switched. The trick was to get better earbuds. The skullcandy ones seem to work pretty well. You need ones that'll plug up your ear.

Skullcandy and some BLUE mix (Dental compound) will help

The volume is great, may use my wifes Bose ear buds as they go farther into the ear. I have an iphone but with this little radio I can change the channels with just a glance as well as adjust the volume with just a couple of taps on the volume controls. I got this Memorex radio on ebay for $14.00, picks up the channels very well.
