I just realized you cannot put the seat cowl on with the rear seat piece in place!! I love the look with the cowl on and without the rear seat on and the cowl in place the seat can move around a bit....WTF...that is a poor design. Is this how it is or am I missing something. Love Sargent seats and the quality is top notch but this disappoints me....

Try puting some of that black car door trim on the lip that rubs the seat. I have a Sargent seat and that works for me.

I had the same problem when I first got mine. It was easily rectified by filing the bottom of the plastic on the seats rear U-bracket and it easily fit right in place...

if you look close where the yellow meets seat you can see trim i am talking about. also keeps cover from cutting into seat.

Thanks for the pic. I think there may be some confusion on my actual issue though....what I am talking about is the fact that the rear portion of the Sargent seat (the passenger seat) cannot be installed at all if you want the seat cowl in place. It is slightly too large and must be removed to put the seat cowl on. Not a huge ordeal really and I have adjusted to it (I never take passengers anyway) but the design does not make a lot of sense and it is not advertised to reflect this.....
