It's a 2007 with only 1,385 miles on it. I'll need to ditch the OE rubber, ASAP. Otherwise, it's spectacularly nice.

I was worried sick where she might have dissappeared to. Naughty girl. I will be right over to pick her up and bring her home. Where can I find you exactly?

    New VFR.jpg

I managed to sneak away long enough for a cup of coffee about five miles away. My first impression of this bike is: buttery. I've never owned a bike that shifted this sweetly. ...and I've owned a bunch. I love the throb of the V4, and even with stock cans it sounds amazing. I can't wait to do some real rides!

Cool. Check in on this thread every now and then. http://vfrworld.com/forums/usa-west/12827-la-co-orange-co-riders-3.html

Josh (JTC) started the thread and so far a few of us have hooked up and got it a decent ride. Hopefully we'll pick up some more members and really keep the momentum going. As far as tires go, if your using this as your commuter then you might look into the Michelin PR2 or PR3's (better for wet weather) as most of the guys who run them have some very high mileage reports. I just threw a set on a few weeks ago and can say the feel so much better than the stock Dunlop SportMax II's that were on there!

    Cheers!

I will be lucky to put a few thousand miles on the bike per year. And, I probably tend toward the sporty side of riding... Has anyone tried the BT-016s on one of these bikes? Or, what about the plain Pirelli Diablo? I'd rather have something a little softer and grippier than something that lasts a long time - because for me, it won't matter.

Somewhere on the forum someone was discussing the BT-016's so do a search and see what comes up. I don't recall what was said or asked, however since I'm partial to Michelin and use the bike as a commuter I just went with the PR2's.

    Cheers

    Thanks!

My email notification showed you asked about the Mustang. But it didn't show in your post here, Pliskin. But, yes. It's a '65 Restomod project that's been in my family since it was new. It's got 58k original miles on it.

I'm caught! I actually made my post and asked about the Mustang. Then I looked and saw your signature line included "1965 Mustang Coupe". So in order to hide my first ever mistake from the buffoons on this site, I edited my post. Then you threw me under the bus, so now I'm coming clean.

That's pretty sweet to have an original car still in the family, especially with such low miles. Good luck with that!

    Ha! Gotcha!!!

As for the SuperCorsas - okay, so when I say I don't really care about how long they last...I guess I was exaggerating. I've had SCs on several bikes in the past. They're amazing. But, I think I got 750 miles out of a rear the last time...

I ride the 16's. I absolutely love them. I get long life from them also (approx 8K both front and back).
