Ok. Everyone is gone. It is so lonely... And quiet. There are lots of pics and videos as crusty can attest to cause he watched a lot with us. Everyone will probably start posting tonight and tomorrow if the hangovers go away. I just started drinking again. Only cure... So much booze... Ugh

The wife and I just walked in the door! We rode with Long up until our turn off and he was doing fine when we parted ways.

We almost got taken out near West LA too! Some cager thought that crossing the double yellow lines to get into the carpool was OK! I swear I have burgundy color paint on my right knee slider!

As soon as I get to my computer I'll post some pics, can't do it from the iPad.

    Cheers!

Thanks everyone and thanks Reg & Teri. We had a great time and very happy we made the trek. It was a pleasure to meet everyone!

I could have skipped the shots last night. But I guess the best stories always contain some element of vomit.

When I used to throw parties in high school, the policy was..."No one's leaving, until we're heaving!"

Enjoyed meeting the new to me faces, also enjoyed seeing and hearing Toe's SC bike and Tink's Gen 5.5 bike. The best looking 5th Gen around !

Thanks for the ride guys, enjoyed it as always.

Thanks Reg and Teri for the foods and beers.

Here's just a couple pics from this morning. One as Randy departed fully loaded. And one of getting JTC back on the road. Had to swap him on a good rear tire. Removing the rear wheel on a bike with no center stand can be tricky. Luckily i happened to have a gantry crane just for the job. (who needs a SSSA stand) We took the well cooked ( only on the side) rear tire off my R6 track bike and put him back on the road.

oh yeah the vids were cool... I am just wondering when California went to solid yellow lines ... cause that was all I saw... there were some fast passes, slow bikes.. and did anyone ever catch that BMW? that think was on rails.... Oh, I wonder what that CHP officer was thinking when the three bikes at mach 2 passed him.... anyway.. It looks like another R3 is in the bag, and I am fuggin pissed that I missed it. I will make another one before reggie up and moves or quits hosting R3 ... for those that went glad everyone was safe. only a few drops that I heard of but nothing major.. a few scratches and a broken mirror right reg?

to the east coast VFR crew, this is truly an epic event that needs to be duplicated here on the right side of the country...I know it is a hard thing to throw together. because of the distance that folks have to travel but WTF we need to give it a try...I would even be up for a cruise thru Canada (I have a passport)

anyway CAli crew I miss you guys, hope to see you sometime soon.

    CR

I would like to have copies of Tink's, Reg's and Tori (if you have any) vids. There might be more from other people. I will make mine available for those that want it. Maybe an ftp session would work. PM me and I will make them (after editing them for Eric's wide corner or JTC's back end getting LOOSE!). I will negotiate for those with money.

Thanks Reg for the hosting. Thanks a ton to Terri for not mentioning that I should 1. brush my teeth, or 2. take a shower or 3. change your clothes, (4. not be so drunk). She is a peach. Reg, you traded up. By next year, I'll ship out the home - made wine. Alas, I'll be the only one drinking it.

I made it home in 9 hours flat. 620miles, 13 police (8 in the Cabazon area), 12 ibuprofin (spelling), frozen south of the tunnel on 101 (52 deg F), cooked at Cochella (89), lasered by the police in Az (thank you new radar detector), sunburned (or wind burned) but not chapped lips (Reg continued to try and kiss me. WTF???). Pics soon. I cannot upload my pics without looking. Oh, I picked up two more rocks for the radiator. I will be removing and putting the stock fan on in a day or two.

Reg, is there a way to inbed a movie in a post? Upload it here and then make a link? I don't want to put anything on youtube and then post the link. Oh, TINK!!!! I hope you liked that Vodka. You were (to his wife), "...take me home before I really get drunk..." or something like that. I don't remember because I was drinking with Eric on the Honey Roasted Jamisson. Man! That was good. Oh, it doesn't mix well with win. Pics soon.

Brian, I think you and I have vid of the same thing. I'm one infront of you. So, you have me infront and I have TC in front. The whole thing. I think we can mesh the two vids together and make them into a split screen. Should be easy.
