I was washing my bike and screwing around with the anti-dive knob and the damn sticker fell off!!! Does anyone know what number the little set screw points to? I want it set to #1, but I have no idea where it was.

    Hi,
I Believe on my 83, the settings are embossed into the fork end cap?

Sorry, I was referring to the the TRAC knob on the bottom left fork, not the plastic knob on top of the right fork.

    Bump

    Please someone help me...

I've been searching for a photo of the TRAC knob and I can't find one that shows where the little set screw is in relation to any of the numbers.

First one who can advise which number aligns with the set screw on an 85 vf700f TRAC knob will rightfully deserve two "Cool Points" !!!

May the odd's be ever in your favor!

On my 83 the outer ring of the Track screw has numbers embossed in it as follows: (following the angle of the fork tubes) #1=9 o'clock, #2=12 o'clock, #3=3 and #4=6 o'clock position at the bottom.

Wow, I did not know there was a different style from what mine is. I had an 85' Magna, and now an 85' Interceptor. Both had an actual knob with a silver sticker on the top. On the side of the knob, there is a little set screw. There is no slot for a screwdriver, or engravings, with the exception of the pointer on the fork.

Sorry guys, this was not the answer I was looking for so you will not receive your two "cool points".

However, since you guys responded you each get one "cool point". Congratulations !!!
