I think I saw your buddy twice coming home from carpool. Yes, I tried Ortega the other day and it's boring. I had more fun on the short Cajalco Canyon ride. I used to ride Angeles Crest and Malibu canyons before I moved to Corona area. Rim of the World and the area sounds interesting. I haven't been there on a bike. Should we plan something for this Saturday?

 

Should try Paloma and Old Grande and Old Hi way 94 and old campo........You will forget Ortega

 

Saturday sounds good! You want to start at Hwy138 or Hwy18? Starting at the 138 would add a little extra to the ride. New years day we rode up the 18 to Arrowhead stopping lakeside for lunch. Taking a quick ride around the lake before heading back to Corona. Anyone else want to join? What is a good start time? We could do lunch in Big bear before completing the second half of the trip....

Now all we need to do is pick a road at random and meet up there. After R3 of course, and hopefully after I get my suspension bits back from Jamie D!

That is true and not the safest thing either, especially if canyon riding. Have fun guys, I know we plan to!

Viffer06 and I met up this morning to ride the Rim of the World but unfortunately it started to rain on our way up the pass. So we ended up turning around and headed to Hwy 74 in the direction of Palm Springs. It was cold at times but an awsome ride! (Pictures Posted in the gallery). Hope you all are having a good time!!

Sorry I can't make this one. Today is my "Maintanance Monday", I have a list of things that I need to take care of around the house and on my vehicles. The good part is I'll be putting on the fender eliminator kit! I'm also going to find the high idle issue on my Duc. This is after the stuff around the house is taken care of, part of the R3 get away deal I made with the wife.

Have fun! Let's keep the momentum going. Next Saturday early would be the best day for me next weekend.

Anyone riding tomorrow (6/3/12)? If so, I'll be taking the the Duc. She needs some flight time...getting temperamental seeing that I am spending more time on the VFR lately! New tires for the VFR are supposed to come in on Monday. I should be getting them mounted later in the afternoon if they do, then hopefully Jamie D will have my suspension stuff ready later in the week. So I might not be riding next weekend, more likely I'll be working on the VFR suspension. Woo Hoo!
