Damn! I didn't know those Repsol graphics made such a difference. How much is Repsol premium these days?

Got my bike to do a safety shut down in 6th gear on a slight down hill about a year ago and I believe the speedo said 162. Then my buddy blew by me on his Hyabusa

Not sure, but apparently they're faster than R1's... Especially stock 6th gens and earlier gens with shitty paint jobs and no rear brakes...

Any body hear about the guy who is grafting a reverse from a Wing onto his VFR to have the fastest VFR in the world running backward?

New top speed in 5th gear

1998 vfr800 full Erion exhaust and now with a power commander III on board and mapped for pipe. What a difference now. She revs up so much faster and keeps pulling hard to the rev limiter and the front tire comes off the ground in second every time. The first time the bike surprised me when I went into second the tire came up and she reved so much faster that the rev limiter went off and cut the power so the front slammed down and I was going around a gentle corner with a black bird two lengths behind me until the power cut out anyway. Had it down the stretch in 5th gear and speedo reading 155 mph and tach at 12,400 rpm but it didn't hit the rev limiter for some reason and the fastest before I had ever been is 152 on the speedo but it is off 5 mph. I had to slow as a car was coming but she pulls right to 150 easily in 5 th now. I sure would love to have the supercharger with the Erion race headers and pipe that I have. I think it would make a noticeable difference as I don't think anyone is running the race headers with the supercharger. I am going to put the 2 up rear sprocket on soon and then I will see how well she can pull in 6th gear. It is like a different bike now as it accelerates so much quicker. I was doing roll-ons with the black bird and he noticed that the bike is considerably faster, quicker and now if he does not shift down and I am in 4th then I walk away from him by a good 10 - 15 bike lengths and then I hit the 150 mark in 5th and pulls past me and away to 160+ mph good thing he has a radar detector built in on board so I like him to be in front anyway:)

My 91, aka the mach 1 91 is all stock with the exception of the platinum conglomerater. 150 on my bike is in first.

Notice that my 91 is not named. This is merely an aka. If I were to name it it would be something studly like John Wayne or Clint Eastwood not Gertrude or Tammy.

Impressive, I've always wanted an actual race exhaust, but settled for a slip on and a motad header. How'd you come about finding a header???

I managed to hit 158 on the way to work this morning at 5am, it seemed the most it will go, considerably smooth going that speed too.

I kept looking and got very lucky. It was in Florida and a Honda race team had it on there old race bike and the bike had been retired. Once in a blue moon they come up on ebay but hardly ever. The pipe is a bigger diameter and is so light and the sound is the best I have ever heard, v8 deep rumble in low rpm and comes alive. The sound is never annoying and revs like my ZX10 10 did. It just unleashes more power and truly has a powerful acceleration and lets the motor breath better. The reason I hit the rev limiter was the dang Black Bird has annoying D&D pipes on it and is so loud that you can't hear anything. He is now happy as my ZX12R would walkaway from him so bad and I would let him get 70 yards ahead of me and and he would be full out and I would catch him in seconds and pass him with ease 180+. Above 170 mph feels so fast to me and reaching up in the 190 mph range is truly kind of scary as to much could go wrong and I always just think of the pavement and would my leathers stay together:) 203 mph (Trooper radar gun) was the fastest on my acquaintance friend with his zx12r but you need the 2000 yr model or like mine 2001 with Muzzy Bonniville box. I was actually going to sell it 2 months ago (posted it here but then I just couldn't) to a true diehard VFR owner as I was so close to selling the bike but I sold my zx12 and zx10 instead and posted it I had tried and tried to get one from Erion but it was always a no go. The good thing about the VFR is it is very safe and doesn't let one get so stupid as one really needs to not go over 160 mph but it is ok to get close. I weigh 265 lbs so I would like to see someone lighter that can fully pull the sixth gear as the bike pulls all the way through on my bike to the rev limiter and does not drop off like most.

I think I read somewhere those headers are legal in some counties in Nevada.

Excellent, she is very smooth at that speed. I just need a supercharger for mine now and it would be perfect. He has not responded to me other then to say he is pretty much just selling the supercharger and has gotten away from the kits so now I am buying another bike 05 zx12r to fix my need to blast addiction and it is cheaper anyway then the kit but I sure would like to have just one bike the VFR is so close to doing it all but just lacks that final afterburner thrust that is addicting. I want the kit but if he won't sell one then that is life.

I bet if we had a shootout with those other gay VFR sites, we would have the fastest bikes, the best riders and I know for certain speaking for myself, a deeper knowlege of Oprah than any of those other dudes.

Now thats someone in-touch with their feminine side ; )
Good for scoring points with chicks. Was not aware that they haul arse as much as that in AK. When I drove their with my parents, I got a ticket in Toke Junction for something silly, 70 mph. Funny thing was that I had to slow for a turn and a nan0-second before that I was at triple digits.

On a dirt logging road on the way to Coldfoot, I was cruising the Oldsmobile :rip: at ova a hundred and hit a bump where all our heads hit the roof and are arses got AIR!

When you go to sell your bike, you can say it was owned by a little old woman from Pasadena

I don't know much about all that other stuff but I don't think you are aware that Oprah is a guy and may even be a harleydood. ;)
