    I'll have to make due. No way to get wife, baby, and two dogs over the mountain to the in-laws place on the back of a motorcycle. And no way the wife will do 14hrs on the back of any seat let alone the stock one.

    Good thing daddy taught me there would be sacrifices in life.

    alright, I wasn't totally honest.

    I actually have a pass to do the ride over the Rockies while the wife drives the truck with the kid and dogs. But for at least the 10hrs from the in-laws in Grand Junction where we ditch the dogs and kid, I'll be doing the Harley/Sturgis impression across Utah and Nevada on Thursday. Maybe I'll unload when we stop for the night in Barstow and ride it in from there. We'll see.

    Am fully prepared to take all the shit dishing that's due.

    the weather should be good temps for riding. pictures may be a little cloudy. we will see. the chance of showers is 30-40 percent along most of the route...

    I just spent the weekend on some of the roads we'll hit. Great conditions.
    If we have the same amount of traffic next weekend...it will be superb.

    Small amount of weather concern, but I don't think it'll be a big deal.
    Very stoked for this week.
