No R3 for me

Hey now all you doo doo pickers and pickerettes! I am very sad to report that I will not make it to R3 this time around. I had a bit of an off back in October which totaled my bike, and damned near totaled me as well, so I have no ride.
Since I know someone will ask, here's the laundry list. I fractured four vertebra, left clavicle, three ribs, shattered left ulna (metal plate), shattered left cheek bone (metal plate), and lacerated my spleen. After a week in trauma intensive care I began the healing process which, with the exception of my back, is pretty much complete.
So if that wasn't enough, I've been diagnosed with esophageal cancer, and will likely require surgery in the near future to remove that. The fun just never ends!!!
I will be with you all in spirit, and hope you all have a really great time.

 

I was wondering where the resident VFR World Ozzie Osbourne look alike was........sorry we will not see you this year my friend.

 

Hope you get better soon Mr. Den! I need someone at the back of the pack to ride with me! Best wishes for a speedy recovery.

 

Mr. Den I knew something is up, I calleed you and left you several message and text.....with no response. My gut telling me somethings is wrong. Anyway speedy recovery, you will be missed for sure.

I am really sorry you are not going to be there. What a mishap. But you made it through and that. I am sure you will kick the bejesus out of the cancer too. Looks Like I am going to be the old bugga there now. Speedy recovery man.

Well, heading to Salinas from Reno to visit some family..Wife is driving ill be headed down on the vfr.. got a kitchen pass for one day....Sat or Sun???

 

If you plan on coming then you want to be there on Saturday morning for the big ride, BBQ and raffle afterwards. Most people arrive on Friday all throughout the day. (I will NOT be last this time!)

 

Sunday most of us collect our liver and sneak oot to our respective twelve step programs.

 

I want to thank everyone for the well wishes. I have some good doctors, and am determined to kick this thing in its a$$. I will do my best to keep y'all up-to-date.
