I am getting close to I group with NESBA Last trackday I was pulled aside and told just a little more speed and I was their.

NESBA can be weird, and your comment isnt the first I've heard someone say there is a click. I will say that their is one LOL! BUT since I pretty much only ride with NESBA its more that they are stringent on vetting people going to the next level. I wasnt part of the click and only kind of know a few Control Riders. What i did was start going out riding with a plan and working on being consistant. Next thing I know CR's are working with me and I get pulled aside and told I am almost at the next level and what I needed to work on.

I agree though that their is nothing wrong with trying another org either. I plan on riding witha few different ones this year and already did last Monday.

Too bad you are so far away Jethro :-(.

I did so in Cages. I was an SCCA worker for a few years, & got involved in Vintage Racing & Club track days, it was great!
But It has gotten way to exspensive to get back into.
I would like to do some track days on my bike, But Not this year. As several members have said, it is the best, & safest way to learn how to ride, & to find out where your limits are, & the limits of the bike.

Basically it's a master cylinder that you see on all the newer sport bikes, where the direction that you pull the brake lever and the pump itself are parallel. This results in more leverage and more importantly more feel. If you look st the master cylinder on our bikes, the action of the lever and the pump are perpendicular to each other. This results in a lot of the force from your hand being wasted in the transition.
