I knew Long and Toe, and possibly Randy, but I was curious to see if there were other native So. Cal riders.

I think I am going to miss this Mexico trip. I was going to be there a bit earlier to help set things up to take ny time pressures off Reg seeing as his is still a working stiff. And besides, my butt is still tender from the search from when I went through the border last time. If all is good with Reg, I was targetting to be there Wednesdy evening. Reg can give me a list of chores to do. But I hope to be in SoCal prior to that. Stuke has been gracious enough to offer me some sightseeing. Especially a tour of that little boat there. I think they call it the Halfway or something like that.

Still in hawaii doing the happy hour pub crawl starting daily at 12 noon. I pretty much have the best happy hour deals scoped out now and can stay drunk much cheaper than the average drunk. Everybody is good at something.

I don't know how good at riding I'll be, but I'll be ready for the BBQ/beerfest that always ensues thereafter.

JTC: Yes. Headed out either Wed or Thurs. Still have to finalize it with Long. I have no interest in a trip to Mexico.

That is right next door to the Pamona KOA but I am out of here Thursday. But next stop is the KOA at Santa Paula so I just might ride back here. Can't be any more than an hour or so. Thanks for the heads up. Anyone else going?

Nah can't make it this weekend, too much going on here at the home front. Mother's day is Sunday and we have a few things lined up on Saturday but it's too late to change schedules. Heading to Santa Paula by the way the crow flies and if you're really "flying" maybe an hour, but with LA traffic and actual distance, not likely. If you're going to go to Santa Paula you may want to go around LA instead of through it. Heading West on the 10 to the 57 North to the 210 West will take you on the outside edge of LA. Once the 210 intercepts with the 5 North, head up the 5 until you hit the 126 West (Just past Six Flags Magic Mountain) and that will take you straight into Santa Paula. If you're really into an adventure, head through the Angeles Forrest and come around the back side of the mountains to Santa Paula. The initial route is almost the same except a slight detour off the 210 fwy and through the Angeles Forrest. Not sure on the road conditions as I have not been through there in quite sometime, but it's an awesome ride none the less. Essentially you come out in the Antelope Valley and return via the 14 fwy back through Santa Clarita. There are so many tributary roads in and through SC that you could take some interesting routes back to the 126 but I wouldn't want you to get lost/stranded out in the middle of nowhere! Heading 14 to 5 North is the most simple and direct route when coming from the Antelope Valley.

Have Fun, Be safe and Good Luck.

    Cheers!

I should make it again this year as long as work stops trying to interfere with my vacation. I head out for Idaho Tuesday and plan to ride down Thursday next week. It will be good to see you guys again.

Now that we are getting closer to the festivities :bandito: I wanted to send a reminder about the now infamous R3 Gift Raffle. Bring in your submissions when you ride in and I'll collect everything on Saturday after we get back from the ride. After everyone has eaten and before we start losing people :puke: We will pull numbers and distribute the prizes. The gifts don't have to be motorcycle related but should have some relevance either to you, past events (if you are a returning R3 hooer) or a nice accessory for the bikes. You don't have to spend a lot but don't be a cheap azz beeeatch either! Whining about what you receive in the raffle will result in several atomic wedgies and burning of all your underwear in the fire pit. The home-owner nor the organizers of the R3 Infamous Gift Raffle are not responsible for the contents of any gift or the results of their use. You're on your own Sparky!! :drinker::boozer::drinkers:

That is mighty nice and gracious of you kind sir!! I was very jealous of those who got a CAT anything in the raffle last year, so I can't wait to get my very own CAT hoodie!! I'd offer to bring cupcakes, but I'm not sure they'd survive the 600 mile trip!! Maybe I can manage something else.... Heehee!!
