Welcome sturgedm, soloii-74 and Elvisuperman. It's great to see that this bike still has a following. When the 6th Gen came out in 2002, I was on the fence about getting one, but as soon as the RWB color scheme came out, I put one on order. This is now my 6th season with it and it is a rock solid machine. It is a keeper.

2007 Anniversary VFR800A #201 checking in, bought it in February after years of wanting one and always settling for less.

Is the BMW in the background yours too?? Looks like an E46...

I don't have an '07 RWB, but that is merely a matter of time. Ever since I picked up the '86 RWB, I knew I HAD to have the Anniversary Edition someday!

Welcome to VFR World..... By the way, the number is the last part of the VIN - on the tag on the frame on Left side of the bike - should also be on your title..

#196 would like to know more about production numbers of this bike. Anyone confirm the total number made with this paint scheme? I think somewhere in this post it was stated 2500.

Yeah, you 're right. Original is always different from mods.
Mine is Candy Red 2007. I have painted to RWB anyway. So I can make sure that the qty of RWB re-painted like mine is much less than orginal painted RWB.. hehehe...

Don't do it! Candy Dark Red may be the rarest color of all. I think painting it would lower the value, not that I EVER plan to sell mine. There is more to value than selling price!

They told us the same BS about the White & Black. When I got mine they only had the 2 models (the Red & the Silver) on the Australian Honda website. Now they have added the B&W.
Limited Edition (Limited to the amount they sell). If it had a plaque like the Guzzi V750 cafe racer, I'd be more inclined to go with the 'limited' theory.

VietHorse, that looks really good. Obviously haven't seen it up close, but I sure can't tell the difference between that and an OEM RWB from that picture

And now there are X number of Honda made RWBs +1

I agree with Terc that most people would never notice that it wasn't RWB from the factory. I think it came out great. Now you just need to powdercoat those rims white to make it complete!

Though of doing that while opened up the fairing for painting. And powder coating for rims is very cheap here (abt $50-80 for both rim) However, the frame is silver as well. So I think I will leave the rim as they are for now.

I picked mine up “pre-taken-care-of” in May 2011, and it proudly boasts vin# 343. What a birthday gift!

If it's the last three digits I have 003 my lucky number! If not, then I have 1003 dammmmm... Now, is 2,500 World Wide or just in The States? I'd have to agree...probably more like 2,500 at least.
