I am offended. But a beer will fix that. Just got a call from the Shop. Racers Edge here in Vegas. Great few people there I dealt with. Guys, if you are here in Vegas and need some work or assistance, this is really the place to go. They all seem to love VFR's there. And customer service is as good as it gets.

The stator has died of old age. Maybe it died of exaustion from too much road sex with me. Who knows. The stator was going to go anyways. It is just that the timing is almost totally wrong. But it does give me a chance to spend some time with a very gracious host.

OEM is back ordered for a week or so. I would prefer to go OEM but I can't stay here that long. So we ordered an after market from Wisonsin wich should ship overnight. Hopefully back on the road by Wednesday.

 

After few beers and some amazing tacos, we start heading back to the US border..........Jason and I get thru with little resistance from the officers. However when Randy pull up they ask him if he have any DRUGS (Narcotic) Well Randy said yes so they start to interogate and search him, not get in to much details (All we saw is he taking off his gears and they bring in the dog........turn out Randy carry several hundreds pill of precription drugs. LMAO ound:ound:ound:
By the time they release him it was too late to Vegas so we decided to head out to Downtown San Diego

 

Stop by the Midway to pay our respect to the men and women in uniforms.




I told Randy without American arm force he would be back in Scottland instead of Canada so he got piss and try to break my neck.....


Well we start hungry again so we head out to one of our favorite pizza place (Pizza port) for some wings, pizza and beers of course....

 

No worry, we only have a beer and chat for few hours so we not riding under influence of any kind

 

Well time for me to step up to the plate and give some play by play. Here I am packed and about to release the clutch to begin. Wife took the picture then said to hurry up and get going. I got things to do.....Hmmmmmmm.



I stayed a some sleezy hotel very close to the border so that I could get the time stamped gas receipt as close to the time I was going to cross the border as I could. Well they had no record of my booking. Told them I did it on line and showed them ther confirmation. Get to the room. No lights! Seems they had power issues in the building last night. Electricians running all over but they got mine up and running is short order. Met Jasonsmith for a burger and beer then back to the hotel for a few hours sleep before I head out.

Get up at 01:00 to pack up and head out. Hear sirens all over the place and a fire engine pulled onto the back lot right below my window and they are running into the bulding WTF! Anyway I get packed up and out of there. Clear sailing at the border. Now for some hard riding. I want to make Mexico in 24 hours. I know I stopped a couple times along the way for a bite and one rest but to be quite honest with you I don't remember where. Caffiene pills were a substantial part of my diet this day.

Get to Sacramento at around 9 PM. That is as far as this old bugga is going to make it tonight. Gas jockey directs me down the road to the Clarion hotel and I book into there. Same price as the hotel in Cloverdale but what a change in the accomodations. Low and behold it was right across the street from the Governors Mansion. And I wasn't invited to stay there. When I get back to the UFRR, I am going to cut off trade with California and place huge duty tarrifs on anything imported from there.

Seeing as I was not going to meet my goal, I got a lazy start to the day and pulled into Long's driveway somewhere around 2:30 PM. Relax and when Long gets home he takes me out for some Pho. Now even though I did not put as much of the throat searing, rectum wrenching, anus altering, hot sauce on mine as Long put in his, that was some good stuff. To be had again. Vietnamese coffee has become a dear friend. Don't need caffiene tablets any more, I had a couple doubles of those. Was so wound up on caffiene I look through the windows of the space centre.

Long brings me to a roadside stop at the ocean and look who is there! The partidge Family! That dude wanted me to pay him for taking that photo........not



Today we head out after mornings work for Long and meet up with some dude. Can't quite remember who he was but I think I have met him before.

We cross into Mexico and I get my passport stamped. Had to talk them into that. Seems they don't do that any more. Why so many pages on a passport I wonder?

So we call it a night and the three of us head over to Longs San Diego Estate and spend the night. Stuke says he has to work in the morning. What is that?

You should have told Honda that it was for Jackie Chan and he wouldn't settle anything other than overnight straight from Japan! Did they want a Honda to appear in his new movie or NOT!

So here is Randy ready to head out to Vegas. I called him a trooper and guess what.....He dress like a trooper ready to bail out from a plane.



As we head out to the intersection, I turn right and assum he follow..........Nope no sign of Randy...Hummm
I pull over about few hundred feet and wait and wait no sign of randy so my heart telling me something is wrong. Make a U and sure enough Randy is standing next to the down (Beautiful) white VFR. I feel his pain
Help him pull the bike up and make sure no serious damage to the bike.

Now off we go shopping to find the replacement mirror and lever.


Riding around to several bike shop, none of this bastard would carry any part in stock for VFR. Their inventory SUCK.

Waisting half a day without any luck finding Randy a mirror so we head out to Vegas, the traffic is horrible so I have to split lane ......the Canuk is not really like the ideas but he did it any way to show the American that he got Balls

We have to push start to Chicky house and plug her in for life support......
I am sure you guys figured out from here thru Chicky and Randy write up. As they said whatever happen in Vegas stay in Vegas

The weather in San Diego is very pleasant but Vegas is freaking HOT
