You said goodbye but you never leave, had a girlfriend like that once, or was it she didnt say goodbye? Just kidding we love you Canooks around here. Hell we even got your Prime Minster that we cant shake around here. Nice looking 919 and I bet it has a tad more power.

That would have been one of our province's premiers, kinda like your state governors (although we don't have Arnold!). I heard about that, but didn't know he went that far for the surgery. That's right across the continent!

Looking at the second last picture of the 919 I am beginning to really dislike the rear fender area. I might need to clean that up.

Great looking 919. Congratz on the new bike...sad to see you left the VF/VFR line entirely but it's not a bad choice by any means.

Looking forward to hearing more about the 919

I bought an 02 919 new, rode it for 8 years with no issues. I just wish it retained at least some of its original value. I enjoyed it, but it (in my mind) doesn't compare to the 2000 VFR I bought. Different league. You will enjoy the 919 though. I miss mine once in a while.

One good wheelie for about 50 yards should remove any unnecessary clutter back there!

Nice looking bike. I almost purchased a brand new 2007 in January of 2008, but opted for the VFR. My friend had the 919 while I was bikeless, and after him letting me tool around on his for a while, that's what got me back on to two wheels.

    Best of luck with her!

Enjoy your new ride. looks like fun. I'm still not clear on what the problem justifying two bikes is, but that's your call. Good luck Brother.

Money, space and wife. Insurance on the two plus payments on the 919 would have put me higher than I was able to negotiate with my wife. If I did negotiate higher I wouldn't have got the 919 and kept the 500. I would have bought a new VFR800!!

For now I am thrilled with my 919. It really has character and performs very well. As a first big bike it is perfect.

    I'm back!

Hi guys! I thought I would drop a note to say I have returned to the Interceptor! I just sold my 919 and bought an immaculate 6th gen, a 2002 with only 7000 miles on it.

It's nice to see that a number of you are still around! I will be hanging around the 6th gen forum, but I will be sure to stop in from time to time.

    Cheers,

    Michael

Hah, I just sold a 600 Hornet (the 599, I believe it was called in the U.S.) and bought my first VFR750. Can't imagine selling it

    Welcome back.

I bought it from a member here who lives near me, Jethro911. Here's a pic from his ad. I haven't taken my own yet!
