Well I've posted a few times and I've been saying I'd post some pictures, so here's a couple I took yesterday. The bike doesn't look the greatest and has some color identity issues, but I will remedy once I get ahold of some lowers. I think it was black originally. Not sure if they made black bikes with white wheels. I first thought it may have been a white bike. Not sure how to tell... maybe someone can chime in on that.

Think it may have started life out as a 90,91 which had gold/white wheels. 92 was not black but granite blue, dat what I gots  I got your pipe on mine, got a deal off Ebay and my old one had a small bit of rash. It is not loud which kinda bummed me out but it looks more trick. Think the 93 bikes came with white wheels, mine had gold wheels when I bought it. Nice job, you gota get lowers now!!!

Hopefully it will lose the "Oreo" paint scheme soon. I snagged some lowers on ebay for $55 shipped, so that should make it look better. Although the lowers are white and would just add to the oreo look. Any good solid paint color other than stock that would look good with white wheels? I was thinking Audi's Glut Orange... thoughts?

I think it looks pretty cool..It would probably blend with some white accents on the black parts. Maybe some decals or stripes? Would probably look cool with the white lowers as well.

OK, so it's been awhile since I've posted and I've been busy on the bike. Here is a preview of what I've done so far. Painting each part myself. Rustoleum white paint job is coming out so great! Purchased some decals for xtremedecals and they are very good quality. I've got just about everything I need minus upper fairings which I'm trying to source now. Not a great pic, and didn't have my seat cowl on, but here's a little progress. I'll take more soon...

I'm getting pretty close to finishing! Took some time last night to change the oil/filter and start the assembly of the front end. It's cool to see progress...

Well I'm almost finished. Need to find some extra hardware to install the cowl behind the front wheel and paint the tank, but I'm happy and looking forward to riding.

Yep and thanks! Rustoleum Gloss White Enamel and Rustoleum Clear (both in rattle cans), followed up with a 1000 grit wet sand and Meguires Ultimate Compound. There were so many tempting colors to choose from, just figured white would look decent and match the wheels the best. It's a lot more work than expected, but I learned about paint, it came out nice and I did it myself. So there's a little bit of pride thrown in.

AC... Thanks, and I actually came across the cowl by accident. I was looking on ebay, which I was searching heavily when trying to find parts. A seller listed a fox rear shock for 1992 vfr 750 had mentioned that he was starting parting out his bike in the description. I checked for other items that he was selling and he only had the shock listed. So I contacted him through ebay and he had everything I needed. In blind faith I sent money via paypal for most of my plastics, but it worked out great. The seat cowl had a couple missing tabs but I was just happy to have found one. I picked it up for $50.00 shipped. Sometimes you have to think out of the box and ask questions if there's a possibilty and defineately if you come across a part out. Good luck and happy hunting!
