    What's wrong with the stock setup unless you're riding way too fast ??

    Front springs, better rear shock is all you need.

    looking for the length of forks not just mm..i heard most inverted are 50mm..but not all..The issue isnt mm because im going to pair the same triple tree with the forks that belong..I was wondering more about height..someone said that 600 rr inverted forks from an 03 would be too short and my tire would hit my rad. if they were to max out

    You can refer to my other post explaining why i was mad..but in essence he did not aid the search at first, gave me a bad first impression of the site, and didnt even read my post carefully cuz he asked me a question tht was stated n the 1st post..but all seems remedied..dint think there is any bad blood

    Could do it , wanted to upgrade to a newer/better technology to comp. for the weight of the vfr, also would be simple to upgrade rotors and calipers. And nearly for the price of good front springs and a rear shock i can get an entire modern front end with a lighter and more attractive wheel. BUt i know what you mean, save the effort for the same result! not bad advice amigo- thanks

    "a modern front end"? what is that? Hydraulic tubes with springs since 1899. Does udf change how they perform, or just make it easier to service? Are you getting killled by >.1 lap times? the question is interesting to a pretty small group, so don't get upset if you don't find a final answer or that forum regulars shoot the sh#t out of boredom.

    Modern front forks are better in a couple of ways, that is for sure. There is no question that proper springs and valving in stock VFR forks can do wonders for the handling. The "best" front end depends on many factors and differs for each person. That's why I like to go over the options with each person to make sure they are getting what they need and are not paying for something they won't use.
