Hopefully will know this coming week. Roommate has training in april, he's going to find out if they're getting weekends off soon.

He's been out there on Easter when it was totally sold out/packed, and when it's been pretty dead. So it could go either way.

I'll see if I can get the flatbed out from Bakersfield before then too, it's sitting at the folk's ranch right now.

I have an extra trailer you can borrow if that would be easier. Flat bed about 12' long. Not perfect for bikes, but will certainly work. Come check it out if you want. Its here in Grover.

Reg is headed over, and we might make a small ride today....

I really prefer tracks like STREETS, it is a technical track. Lots of off camber turns, up-hills and down, a slight down hill section with a blind chicane type of turn followed by a off camber almost 90 degree right hander. If that sounds fun then you might like STREETS. The BIG track is all about BALLS IMHO. Talk to you later.

Yeah, id rather have the technical track. I need that practice more than just twisting my wrist and waiting for the next curve.

Streets is a smaller slower track. Good for smaller bikes. If it's the streets track I won't be going... I don't have a small bike... The big bikes LOVE to highside coming out of those slow turns... It's fun... just too small for the big bigs is all...

Sorry, I went turn dyslexic there for a moment(instant dirt sample). :eek:That would be a left turn not a right. XXFirefighter those over head track maps are great! I'll talk to my Lt. this morning and see if he will let me go early.

Totally agree. I've been on both, and would probably not do Willow (Big Track) again. The Streets of Willow is much more fun. Now, maybe thats because my track ride is a 600.......but even with a litre bike, Willow just seems to drawn out. I mean, aren't we in this for the thrill of cornering??

Disclaimer: Being a track whore though, if the price were good enough, or someone else was paying, I'd be on Willow in a heartbeat!

So, you guys have fun on the Big Track, and watch out for rabbits crossing the track in turn 8

Umm being laid over knee skipping the ground at 130ish @ 8 and 9 is thrilling enough for me.. Then there's something about hitting 150 right before jamming on the brakes right before turn one that I love.. That perfect right hander of turn 2 is my FAVORITE... I won't go on... :)

XX LOVES the big track ! Then again I'm bias :)
