Are those really that rare, one of 300 and one of 50?? Seems steep because we, well I, can't stand to see a beautiful bike like that not ridden unless it's some "super special previously owned by a racing god" type deal sitting in a museum. Considering the rarity stated by the seller, they should only increase in value though if one bought them as an investment/showpiece to display in a giant glass case.

There is a NC24 on ebay right now as well. Some one with some cash could have a very nice starter collection...

Those bikes are collector pieces. No way would I ride it.

They aren't even bad ass bikes by today's standards. A Gixxer 750 will eat them for lunch.

I guess it's just not my thing. <shrug>

That is definitely a good theory. So what are these two bikes really worth? $50K - $60K?

What are these bikes worth? People walk into a H-D dealer everyday and drop $30k on a boat anchor that looks just like the boat anchor they made 30yrs before..same technology made with cheaper crappy parts. Yes $100k is a big price but if I had it to burn i'd be all over those bikes. Its history..you cant buy that at walmart. What are they worth is what someone is willing to pay to own them but $50 - $60k sounds bout right to me.

Saw these also, when I was cruising ebay. There's another RC30 on there for like $30000. They are worth that money if they are real and unmolested. One version of the RC30 tipped the scales at 395 lbs ready to race. Want that weight loss program for my vf1000r.
