Official VFR sighting thread

Today about noon or 1ish- White 6th gen riding 2up around Pine Mtn / Warm Springs GA. Spoke to you for a brief second at a light entering Columbus.

Sunday Oct 16. '07 RWB spotted heading N-bound on I-95 in SC near the I-20 interchange. You had black/charcoal saddles & top bag (too far to tell the color).

 

Lots of VFR sightings in Northern Virginia. RWB 6th gen with bags HOV lane 95 north. White 06 6th gen with a chick rider PWC and north. Couple Red 6th gens in Alex VA and a yellow 5th gen also in Alex.

 

Today (Nov 12) about 12:45 southbound interstate 43 near the town of New Belgium, WI. Red 6th gen.

 

COLUMBUS GA About 1230 today. Exiting I-80 onto Veterans Parkway. Dark Red 6th Gen ('07?) with color matching factory sidecases & top box.

 

Twinbrook pkwy and Parklawn. We were both turning left. You clapped for me as I turned on my sluttly red girl, you were perched upon your silver girl and I gave you a big :thumbsup:. We keep seeing eachother in passing but never get to stop and talk.

 

Saw a RWB (2007) with aftermarket pipes on the sidewalk outside of Leaf and Ale in Knoxville on 11/26/2011 around 11 am. Was going to go in and find the owner, but staid in the truck so I would not appear insane.

 

Red 5th Gen at the Shell Station in Browns Mills, 1410, 1 Jan. First time I've ever seen a VFR in B Milz since I've lived here.

met my first other vfr12. Fellow works at cycle gear in Fayetteville, NC. We had 2 in the parking lot while I was there.

 

Saw a silver 6th Gen on Hwy 17 heading north just outside of Elizabeth City, NC. I was heading south on the 17 on my VFKR.

 

Mexican Oysters

A Texan stopped at a local restaurant following a day roaming around in Mexico .

While sipping his tequila, he noticed a sizzling, scrumptious looking platter being served at the next table. Not only did it look good, the smell was wonderful.

He asked the waiter, 'What is that you just served?'

The waiter replied, 'Ah senor, you have excellent taste! Those are called Cojones de Toro, bull's testicles from the bull fight this morning. A delicacy!'

The cowboy said, 'What the heck, bring me an order.'

The waiter replied, 'I am so sorry senor. There is only one serving per day because there is only one bull fight each morning. If you come early and place your order, we will be sure to save you this delicacy.'

The next morning, the cowboy returned, placed his order, and that evening was served the one and only special delicacy of the day. After a few bites, inspecting his platter, he called to the waiter and said, 'These are delicious, but they are much, much smaller than the ones I saw you serve yesterday.'

The waiter shrugged his shoulders and replied, 'Si, Senor. Sometimes the bull wins.'

Spot a red 6th Gen two up on 405 north exist on 55 into Costa Mesa..........Rider T shirt with vest passenger with white helmet. I don't think abyone in here would ride with t shirt is it?

 

Heading up to Sand Canyon last Sunday , saw a white VFR going west on the 118 around Tampa.

 

Red 5th Gen, northbound on Arney's Mount Road, 1430 today.

Saw this lakeside in Duluth this morning. Didn't move all day. Left a note on it.
