Does it need to be seconded, or just run with it whether he likes it or not?

Since my authorita runs out right at starting new threads, let alone appointing someone to something, probably best to be seconded.

But he has no bike, no jacket, and no job, so what else is he to do - plant a garden?

I have my jacket now. They lost the original and sent me a brand spanking new one. I have my bike. It's in the garage in pieces. And I have a specific role already on this site but it is in hibernation and was probably before your time:

Some guy just got on "Who wants to be a Millionaire" and admitted he liked to knitt and crochette to the whole world. Think I will go out and scoop up the dogs shit from the back yard now. It is nice and wet and gooey right now.

we actually tried a chat moderator once. it didn't seem to do anything. and she pretty much quit the site shortly after. the new chatbox doesn't offer much in the way of chat controls. if we went to an irc style it probably would, but those can get pretty tech and most of our users are casual. running the multi-room chat just didn't take off for us. there are days when the one room hardly sees any action.

He fell on his head while trying to load the bike into the back of his truck.

He still doesn't remember that part of it.

details in the R3 thread somewhere near the end.

Both I and the bike are on the mend. Bike will be ready end of the week or earlier. ME...maybe a bit longer. Ribs are very slw to heal. What pissed me off the most was I had just put the freshly painted plastics back on. Summumabich.
