I used 2004 GM Arrival Blue, Artic White, 87 Mitsubishi Starion Reo Red (mexican red) decals match the red nicely and pretty close match to others I've parked next to.

OK, now for some tasty pinstripes, in gold, no less. With white VFR symbols and quit. Clear over them and polish as necessary.

Looking forward to the final pics.

My next mod is going to be the addition of the Magic Platinum Oscillating Framasander by Popeil. For $19.95 plus S&H, what a great way to add over 100 horsepower and increase mileage to 125mpg on regular.

Ham-&-Cheese, I went to the local paint shop. They can go off the paint codes and put it in a rattle can. Went for around $18.00. Bit more then Krylon but cheaper then Color Rite.

Yep, its true, someone in Duluth MN with the intials AG sold some rattle can crap to give instant street "cred" to squids that shouldnt have graduated from the Nighthawk 250 they were riding.

I could either take a bicycle to Walmart which would take 10 minutes, I could take the canoe and cross the lake in maybe less time, or I could walk there which might take 20 minutes. Anywho, I would look like a seasoned Walmart person if I did any of those forms of locomotion.

BTW, check out Youtube for weird-Walmart people, you will crack up...Cheers ; )

I beat Andy by about ten years on the rattlecan stuff. One of me tight buds is Greg Field of Harley Book fame and a mano a mano interview with Sonny Barger and lived to tell the tale. Greg and Andy are friends. My association with Andy is to send him lots of money for his stuff. Methinks Greg may have sent him my "website". This was written as a piece for an April issue of an Ezine roughly early 1990's

The nearest Wally's to me is about 7-8 miles and the nearest "lake" is the Pacific which BTW ain't all that pacific this time of year. OH YEAH.. "people of walmart.com". The pix on that may someday surpass the photo archives of the Library of Congress.

I recently needed some paint for a couple of projects..I went to my local BASF automotive paint dealer in town, took him the paint codes and a sample piece of fairing and he mixed what I needed and put it in a 12oz spray can for $20..I bought a can of Shasta White, 93 VFR Pearl White Base and Candy Coat in 12oz cans $20 each, a quality plastic primer and a good Clear w/ hardner built into the can..total for all was $92..he mixed it while i stood there, bout 20 min. Much much cheaper than color rite.
