Hey everyone, hope the new year is treating you well so far. I have a couple questions regarding the Oxford Hot Grips. I got a pair for Christmas but am hesitant to put them on as I have a throttlemeister already on the bike. My bike is a 2002 VFR800a. Would putting the heated grips on negatively affect the use of the throttlemeister? I have read all the other threads regarding heated grips, and they seem to be the way to go in cold weather...I live in Alberta Canada and our riding season is short the way it is so warmer hands would help. No one has commented on the use of these grips with the throttlemeister so I was wondering if anyone has experience in this? Thanks.

I dont have an answer but am interested too. I'm in Calgary and just got an '02 VFR also. I run Oxfords on my SV and dont see why there would be a problem.

I was out December 23 for my Cochrane loop on the SV and the heated grips were fantstic.

Small world, I am in Calgary also. Haven't been riding lately though, little too cold for me. Hope to see you around.

I'm in the process of trying to install my Throttlemeister back on now that I have installed (And glued) my Oxford Heated Grips. I see that this is an older thread and wondered if either of you went forward with this combination? I'm having challenges gettting the friction sleeve back on.
    Any ideas?

I have Oxford Heaterz and bought a used Throttlemeister. The TM instructions say: no heated grips, and sure enough: I cannot figure out how to make the two work together.

I've just installed the Oxford Heaterz touring style grips on my 07 RWB and the Throttlemeisters work just fine with them. I don't know if it makes a difference, but I have Heli-Bars.
