IMG_0189.jpg IMG_0190.jpg IMG_0191.jpg IMG_0192.jpg Here's the deal. I bought this off ebay around May 15, 2011. I got run over on Interstate 4 in Tampa the next day. By the time I recovered from the accident, 5 months later, I opened the box, only to discover this does not fit my 1983 VF750F. To late to send it back to seller, thought about just throwing it away. However, maybe somebody doing a restore might want it or need it. You can have it for FREE! If you want it, just pay shipping to your address, or come to central florida and pick it up. I think I only paid $10.00 for it plus shipping. I believe it fits a 1985 Interceptor, just not sure. You can email me at hogantlh@gmail.com, if you want it.

The part number imprinted on the bottom of the cowl is 77211-KE7-0000. Looked it up on several Honda sites, no luck with this number.

OK its your's. I'll get it boxed up and priced from local mail shipping store. Will PM you with the details, glad someone can use it. You just have to epoxy the halves back together, other than that it looks to be off the showroom floor.

I'm sorry, but I kind of laughed when I read this.

You just casually mentioned "..I got run over ..recovered 5 months later..."

Holy Shit dude! You must be a Saint, or have one watching over you. And now you're giving parts away for free. You sir, are a good man. Most people - and rightfully so - would be claiming they have serious medical bills and every little bit of $ helps.

I'm not going to ask what happened because perhaps you don't want to talk about it, but I hope you are doing better and have healed 100%.

Well I guess "run over" was a misnomer. I was hit from behind by a SUV, ejected from the bike onto the side of the Highway. Unconcious for awhile, many scrapes, road rashes, and separated shoulder, Big Headache, swollen hands, etc. $8,000.00 damage to my Fatboy, Ride in Ambulance to emergency room. Bottom line is "I AM LUCKY TO BE ALIVE". Praise GOD for that. Still riding, wife thanks I'm crazy, probably a few other folks as well. I just can't help myself, I've been riding some type of motorized bike, scooter, cycle, you name it, for over 50 years. I'm to old to quit now.
