    puig double bubble. It's really awesome. I am 6'4" and the wind is totally managable and there is very little buffeting...definitely recommended...

    +1 the Puig. It's also a good looking screen. It is a double bubble but I think they call it the racing screen. Can be had for less than $80. 5 min install. I'm 6'.

    A tale of two windscreens.

    The Puig dubba bubba Racing Screen (as previously stated) is a good windscreen,another good choice is the Powerbronze Airflow doubly bubbler.
    The Red windscreen in this pic is a Puig,the Amber,Violet,and Dark Green windscreens are all Powerbronze.

    Although the Puig and Powerbronze windscreens appear to be similar at first glance there are a few small detail differences. In these next coupla pics you can see that the second bubble on the Red Puig windscreen starts much further forward on the windscreen than the one on the Amber Powerbronze does.
    The Puig also has just a tiny little bit more of an extended lip along the back edge of the windscreen compared to the Powerbronze as well.

    Another minor difference between the two windscreens is the top profile shape. The Puig windscreen has a much more rounded top profile. The measurement from a flat surface to the highest point on that profile is approximately 7 1/4 inches.
    The Puig Racing Screen is offered in 10 different color options including clear.

    [IMG]

    The Powerbronze windscreen has a much broader and flatter top profile. The measurement from a flat surface to the highest point on that profile is approximately 7 1/16 inches.
    The Powerbronze Airflow windscreen is offered in 22 different color options including clear. The prices of the Powerbronze windscreens vary depending upon the color option you choose,they're also made to order so it usually takes a little while to get one.

    Thank you for the nice review. I bought the Puig because I didn't like ZG offering. Most people that saw my Puig liked it a lot and liked how the bike looked with it. I never heard of power bronze. Do you have and contact info you can share?

    Another nice shield is the Airblade. They are way available over seas and hard to find here. They had an iridium colored (if you can call is a color). I think would nice on my pearl white.

    I have bought and fitted Powerbronze Double Bubble iridium screen on my 5th gen and seems to be fine: I would give it a 8 out of 10....

    Givi Windscreen Review for 6' 3"

    I've recently fitted the Givi windscreen to my new 2011 800 because I was tired of all the bugs in front of me being channeled straight into my helmet's visor. Now all the bugs just barely make it over my helmet when I'm not hugging the tank thanks to the slight top curve on the screen.

    Trouble I've found with the Givi is that the wind comes off the corners of the screen into points on my upper arms. I'm getting used to it but not like the OEM screen where wind pressure was constant to shoulders and arms.

    The Puig's look colourful though. All the best in your choice and ride ;-)

    Late to the party, but I am 6' tall and I have a smoked Targa on my 2000. It has a more rounded face shape (like the Puig) and slight up kick on the trailing lip to guide the wind further up and over you. When riding, I can sit way up comfortably and not feel heavy pressure even at freeway speeds, or I can set down for regular riding and feel a nice smooth wind current on the top of the helmet, although I will get the occasional bug on the faceshield. My area is coastal and some rides take me through hills with heavy cross winds. If I tuck in, it's like a different world with no buffetting. I got the bike with the Targa on it (I also have bar risers) and am totally happy with the setup.

    stosh do you alternate colors based on the mood you are in?

    was looking for a new screen to replace the cracked stock on mine, I don't think a color would be my style, but a dark tint will do just fine, hadn't heard of powerbronze before, thanks

    Where at? Full front/side cowls? Or with some other splashes of color mixed in. I can only imagine dark sparkle will be metallic? Metallic makes good paint color even better, can't wait to see, is that happening soon?

    Back on topic!

    Dark tint powerbronze double bubble ordered!

    All that Red bodywork you see will be Purple,still in discussion with my buddy Pez about the graphics.
    The paint is called Liquid Crystal,it's from the PPG Vibrance Collection.
    Already have the paint but it won't be happening soon,got some other business to attend to first.

    I have a '98 & am looking for a screen. I actually like the look of the Zero Gravity SR (stock replacement) dark tint screen. Anyone tried one of these?

    Nice to see you use spanish products...hahaha :smile: anyway to reduce wind the best options are touring screens, here are the most popular:

    * Givi: model D17S:

    [IMG]

    * Puig Touring: model 1096H

    [IMG]

    * MRA: model Vario Touring,
