Wouldn't mind Demoing this Triumph when it comes out

Based on the 1050 Triple admit I wouldn't mind Demoing this when it comes out.

" It’s a Triumph 1050 triple-engined sportster equipped with the best in British chassis components and know-how and is on schedule to go into production next year. "

According to my Trumpet forum, that's actually a kit bike. Still nice though.

Your totally right my second bike is a 2009 Daytona 675, Ive burnt out 2 stators since Ive had it from new, the first time the stator burnt out was at about 3000km and was covered under warranty. The second time was at about 15 000 km. They wanted $700 for a original stator and $450 for the rectifier. Yes you can get these online hell of alot cheaper than original, you can buy them as kits (stator/rectifier). But I got the stator recoiled and a good quality rectifier installed from a guy who specialties in this field and eg mods stators for 24hr enduro bikes etc. Fingers crossed problem solved.

Far as I know Triumph have fixed this problem in the last few years. But end of the day fantastic bike love it to bits and dream a to ride and great fun. When you hit the 7000-8000 rpm it just takes off and screams to 15000 rpm.

I did not. To be perfectly honest, I don't think too many people other than me or you actually care. It's not a VFR & it's not a Honda so I'm pretty sure I'd be wasting my time.

I would just share that if riding a cruiser is your thing, you're not going to find a better one than the Storm. PERIOD. There are only 2 OEM cruisers made that are faster, the VMax & the VRod. If you count the Diavel as a cruiser, then that makes 3. I can absolutely slaughter any air cooled HD or Victory off the line or during a roll on. As far as handling goes, the Storm will embarass the VMax & VRod with total ease. I know, my neighbor has 3 VRod & he can run on the straights but a 240 rear tends to suck balls in the turns.

    KC-10 FE out...
