The Wandering Drewl

So it came to pass, on the final day of the 2,011th year, that The Drewl was no longer associated with a small (in stature and in mind) hospital in the Northern deserts of the region of Arizona.
Whence upon pondering the turn of events, The Drewl proclaimed, "Fucketh it! I shall travel."

And there was much rejoicing.

The faithful Honda steed known as Accord was made ready. A map was produced. The Drewl closed his eyes waved his finger in the air and plunked it down upon the map. A peek revealed his first destination.

Wichita.

It has been decided that as The Drewl wanders about the land he shall host parties and banquets and vomit filled feasts of fruit bats, and sloths, and arangutans, and wildebeasts.

If the citizens of the World of the VFR wish to attend, and sit in the presence of The Drewl, they must only follow this thread and be made aware of the dates and locations of the mirth and merriment to be had.

Once established in each location, which The Drewl shall change every two to three months, The Drewl shall announce the details of his gracious invitations to take audience.

But also be wary. The Drewl has also decided that stealth may catch his fancy. The Drewl may arrive unannounced in your village from time to time. Be sure your fridges are stocked and your wenches are girded!

 

Wichita? So what sin has thyne committed to be sent to such a hellhole?

Fridge is always stocked and you are always welcome, plus you know the we already.

 

Trash cans shall be procured.

Hair shall be held.

 

I have reason to be in the Barren wasteland known as Kansas for a time.
The environment is not pleasing, but it shall suit my purposes well enough.

I know there are VFRWers in the vicinity, I may as well grace them with my company.

 

Might the yellow beast be along on your journeys as well or be she sadly mothballed for a spell??

 

She will have to wait till after this first round. I think she will be my companion on the next voyage in March.

 

Uhhhhhhhhh ok, the fridger is full of beers and lobster. BTW the neighbor dog is missing....!!!!!

Your northeren brotherhood hereby inviteth you to navigate across that invisible boundary, specifically and geographically known as the 49th Parallel line and more commonly known as the USA/Canada border to sittith in the comfort of our igloos, perched upon a finely manicured tree stump and mesmorize me with embellish tales of your riding skills while partaking in the great amber nectar so proudly referred to as Canadian beer.

I will have to PM you my new cell phone number when I get it. I loose my work cell in a couple months. Bastards won't give it to me when I retire, Who knows. Once I get back from my 1 1/2 month bike trip and head out in the land yacht, we could even meet up.

Who really knows Crusty. I mean what colour is air really, All I know is that I have to be in WInnipeg....hear this...Manitscolditoldya...on June 9th for a wedding. Otherwise I guess we need to be back here by Christmas. I really would like to make it way out to the east coast for fall but we will have to see how the funds run. I will have my Nadroid, laptop, GPS, Sat phone and carrier pigeons with me. I will touch bases if we get anywhere near close for sure. Hell I might even start a blog on Facebook or something.

OK, so Wichita fell through. I have spent the last couple of weeks trying to determine where I shall end up in its stead.

I have found the perfect oasis for a winter's rest.

FARGO

8 weeks in beautiful down town Fargo, North Dakota in February and March. I leave Arizona tomorrow for the not-so-great-White-North.

It pays well and it is a short assignment so I shan't complain...much...out loud.

So if any of you are around that area and can dig a path to your frozen vehicles and get them started, let me know. We'll have drinks.
