You're up Stosh. I like the way you color coordinated your card with your bike.

    LOL. ^^^^^

(said in my best Curly Howard Three Stooges voice) Oh........ wise guy! Nyuk,Nyuk,Nyuk.

Sorry Big T. Forgot about this thread,my bad. :sorry:

I repair heavy construction forklifts for a living, specifically the big Linde hydrostatic drive trucks. Those trucks are painted a very bright shade of Orange. "Blood Orange" to be exact.

Your challenge this time around my friends is to get a pic of your VFR next to an Orange forklift. Doesn't have to be a Linde any old Orange forklift will do.

Okay my friends now in the interest of safety let me remind you all that construction equipment can be dangerous,so fer da cripes sakers ya goobs pay attention and please be careful when you're taking your pic willya. :attention:

No video MTB but been there done that many times. Never intentionally though.
All kidding aside for just a moment, you absolutely cannot mess around with these machines my friend because they will kill you in a heartbeat. Lost a good friend of mine several years ago to one of these trucks because he didn't take a moment to protect himself.

These forklifts are all front wheel drive, rear wheel steer, and they run on smooth tires. They only have a top speed of about 12 mph but they can be a real handful sometimes when driving them in the snow and ice.
I can tell you that sliding 15 tons of cold steel sideways with no way to stop it is enough to make the pointer on the ol' Sphincter Pucker Factor Meter point immediately towards the top end of the scale. :scared:

Needless to say when you're responsible for operating a piece of equipment that could cost anywhere from $75,000 to $200,000 ,and it doesn't belong to you,you tend to be extremely careful about what you're doing anyway.

Alright enough listening to me babble MTB,get out there and take some pics. :photo:

    Stosh,

sorry to hear about your lost friend. I know how it feels. I have lost a number of flying buddies due to all kinds of different circumstances. Now each one of them has a place on my arm.

Little reminder to always take care and respect the machine.

On a lighter note: took the 07 out today for the first time in a long time and I have missed her badly. Should have new pics up next week:cool:

    Amen to that. ^^^^^

The three most important words that I teach to my apprentices are "Protect Your Body",because you've only got one and that machine just doesn't care.

Fuck I squirted on that one. Can you imagine Tiger Woods all teed up and about to smack one of those little white fuggers into the next millenium at the tee while someone is ripping up the putting green behind him at Agusta?
