Building myself a Spencer replica for vintage racing. Picked up the roller plus engine for $500.00.

No good Spencer had a 750. Gotta have the right motor numbers on the engine case that proves it's a 750. Otherwise don't EVEN start the build!!:chaingun:

Definitely keep us posted. With photo's and good detailed stories. Just watch those pinky's. You don't want to be called Toe.

What does a Freddie Spencer VFR look like? Something tells me he never raced a VFR. VF750 yes, RC30 yes but VFR?

Freddie raced in 1991&92 In AMA Superbike on a Two Brothers Honda. It had to be a 750 and in 91 they had VFR's. His 250 & 500 bikes were for GP racing.

That's correct Grey. Freddie raced a Honda VFR750R otherwise known as the RC30.

Coupla old pics from '92 I believe at Road America in Elkhart Lake Wisconsin.

Wanna take a guess at who the guy in the white shirt with his back to the camera is?

    Cool!

My g/f and I were walking out to the parking lot after the races that same day I took those pics of Freddie and his Two Bros RC30 and came across this machine parked serenely beneath the trees in the shade.

My knees actually went weak. It was the very first time I ever got to examine one up close and personal. She literally had to drag me away from it.

I always liked this one. It has an RC45 motor in it. Nice exhaust as well. The whole thing is very clean.

The F4i four piston calipers up front are a nice touch too.
